Cranborne Audio Limited Warranty Policy

  1. Introduction

Cranborne Audio, herein referred to as "the Company," is dedicated to providing high-quality products to our customers. We stand by the quality and craftsmanship of our products and offer two types of warranties to protect the interests of our customers: a 2-year manufacturer's warranty for new goods and a 1-year service warranty for goods that have been serviced by is or a recognised service-partner. This Manufacturer Limited Warranty Policy outlines the terms and conditions of these warranties to ensure that our customers have a clear understanding of their rights and responsibilities when seeking warranty service. This Limited Warranty is in addition to your statutory rights in the country of purchase.

 

  1. Limited Warranty Type:

    a) 2-Year Manufacturer's Limited Warranty for New Goods:

The Company offers a 2-year manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase for new products manufactured and sold by the Company. This warranty covers manufacturer's defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. The warranty does not extend to damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, unauthorised repairs, or alterations to the product. Please note that the manufacturer's warranty for new goods is non-transferable and is only applicable to the original owner.

          b) 1-Year Service Limited Warranty for Goods that have been Serviced:

For goods that have undergone service or repair by the Company, we provide a 1-year service warranty from the date of service completion. This warranty covers defects related to the serviced components and the quality of the service provided by the Company. The service warranty is not exclusive to products under the manufacturer's warranty. The service warranty is non-transferable and applies solely to the customer who initiated the service.

  1. Limited Warranty Benefits

During the warranty period, the Company will, at its discretion, either repair or replace the defective product or any component thereof. The decision to repair or replace will be based on the nature and extent of the defect. If a product or component is no longer available, the Company reserves the right to provide an equivalent replacement.

  1. Exclusions

The manufacturer's warranty does not cover the following:

  • Normal wear and tear of the product.
  • Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, neglect, or improper installation.
  • Unauthorised repairs or modifications to the product.
  • Damage caused by non-compliance with the product's care and maintenance instructions.
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect the product's functionality.
  • Products purchased from unauthorised sellers or outside of the specified warranty period.

  1. How to Claim Warranty Service

The Company will not provide any warranty coverage unless your claim is in compliance with all terms of this Limited Warranty and you follow proper return procedure.To initiate a warranty claim, the customer must:

  • Register your product via the Company's website.
  • Contact the Company's Customer Service Department at support@cranborne-audio.com within the warranty period.
  • Provide proof of purchase (e.g., receipt or invoice) as evidence of the warranty's validity.
  • Describe the issue with the product and follow the instructions provided by the Customer Service Department.

  1. Warranty Process

Upon receiving a valid warranty claim, the Company will assess the issue and determine the appropriate course of action. If it is determined that the product or component is covered by the warranty, the Company will provide repair or replacement services, either directly or via an authorised distribution or service partner. The customer is responsible for shipping and handling costs associated with returning the product to the Company or appropriate distribution/service centre.

  1. Disclaimer

The Company's manufacturer's warranty is the sole and exclusive remedy provided to customers. To the extent permitted by law, the Company disclaims any other warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The Company shall not be liable for any consequential, incidental, or special damages, including, but not limited to, loss of profit or use of the product.

  1. Governing Law

This Manufacturer Warranty Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English Law.

  1. Changes to this Limited Warranty Policy

The Company reserves the right to modify or update this Manufacturer Warranty Policy as necessary. Changes will be effective upon posting the revised policy on the Company's official website.
